Morgan Simpson wins Accenture Bursary Prize for Live Performance

17 year old music student Morgan Simpson was awarded the Accenture Bursary Prize for Live Performance for his rendition of ‘Proto Cosmos’ by T .Williams on the drums.

Accenture’s Andrew Meade said, “This is the 10th year Accenture have given a bursary to a BRIT School student based on their talent and great spirit around the School.  My smile kept getting bigger as Morgan played. A drummer playing music that difficult with such flair is incredible.”

Six finalists (pictured below) performed to win the bursary; Hope Johnson sang ‘At Last’, Pearl Duce performed her own song ‘Tatoo’ on the keyboard, Emily Hayball sang and played guitar to her own song ‘I know you’, Kaidi Akinnibi played ‘Oleo’ on the tenor saxophone and Olivia Dean sang ‘The Girl From Ipanema’.
