Simon Roberts – SENCO
Simon’s role is to ensure the effective delivery of support to students with additional educational needs, and to support and inform teaching staff of the most up to date SEN policies and procedures.
Venetia Whittaker -Deputy SENCO
Venetia is an SEN Teacher and is responsible for assessing applications for access arrangements. She also supports Simon in his SENCO duties.
Trevor Gray-Behavioural specialist
Trevor supports students with BESD (behavioural, emotional and social difficulties), to ensure they can fully access the curriculum.
Liz Howard- Specialist Teacher & Assessor
Liz assesses the achievements of students who have been referred by the Deputy SENCo, as a result of concerns from staff. In consultation with the Deputy SENCo, she then considers whether special arrangements for examinations and controlled assessments are appropriate for the student concerned

Our administrator aims to ensure the smooth running of the department. This includes keeping up-to-date records about each AEN student, arranging meetings and communicating with parents, local authorities and other relevant bodies, and organising the resources available to staff and students.
