Facilities
The Interactive Media students will have use of their own dedicated interactive mac design studio complete with a range of software and hardware including Adobe CS5 Creative Suite, 3D Studio Max, Maya and have access to a range of purposeful hardware including iPads and graphics tablets. The course promotes and exploits technology; mobile devices and social media within the teaching and learning environment. We are always on the look-out for new technologies and software that is purposeful and relevant to our students.
The course promotes and encourages visits from professional interactive designers, animators, programmers and games developers. We ensure our students are kept up to date with current Interactive Media initiatives by attending exhibitions, entering competitions and exhibiting student work.
We think work experience is key in providing students with real life industry experience. Students will have an explicit opportunity to undertake work experience to help with portfolio development, learn new skills and to help understand the world of work and to experience the interactive media industry first hand.
