Musical Theatre
Musical Theatre is done excellently at The BRIT School and we are proud to offer students the opportunity to train in an environment that cultivates high levels of self-discipline, self-awareness and self-expression. Each of our courses provide students with the chance to grow as a whole person, and have been specifically developed with a balanced focus on Acting, Singing and Dance skills; with each discipline being equally important to any student considering pursuing a professional career in the field of Performing Arts.
We currently offer 2 two-year Musical Theatre training course options: one at Key Stage 4 (KS4) for students in Year 10 and 11, and the other at Post 16 for students in Year 12 and 13. Both follow a BTEC qualification that is delivered by a diverse team of experienced industry specialists.
The Musical Theatre department are proud to have supported many of it’s Alumni into a variety of performance related destinations which include: performing in West End and touring productions of plays and musicals, appearing in television dramas and commercials, recording award winning pop albums, setting up community theatre projects, writing plays and musicals and developing independent production companies.
