    About Ajani

    With over 20 years of dance experience and more than a decade working professionally, Ajani is a dynamic and versatile hip-hop and contemporary dancer known for blending powerful technique with raw musicality. Holding a First-Class BA Honours degree in Contemporary Dance, Ajani has built a distinguished career performing and collaborating with renowned companies and artists such as Definitives Dance Company,  Avant Garde Dance, Boy Blue Entertainment, Richard Alston, Riverdance, Zoonation Dance Company, James Cousins Company, and more

    Ajani has also danced on global stages alongside music icons such as Years & Years, Dua Lipa, FKA Twigs, BTS, Elixir, Laura Mvula, and he has appeared in numerous commercials as well as ad campaigns. Among the accolades mentioned, there is much more unmentioned of his influence and contribution to the arts that have taken place, and are to come.

    OPEN CONTEMPORARY

    A space to connect with movement, music, and your individual artistry.  With a focus on grounded movement, flow, and control, students will develop core strength, alignment, and an expanded physical vocabulary. This class encourages improvisation, task-based exploration, and personal expression. Discover new ways of moving!

    OPEN STREET FOUNDATIONS

    Exploring the power of hip-hop, this class explores foundational techniques through a uniquely dynamic lens all influenced by the teacher’s raw musicality and signature versatility.

    OPEN STREET CHOREOGRAPHY

    Experience choreography shaped by the distinctive fusion of contemporary and hip-hop, known for its textured movement and rhythmic complexity. Dancers will be challenged to embody intention, musicality, and detail while pushing their physical and creative boundaries through powerful, genre-blending phrases.
