Partnerships in Action

We are immensely excited and honoured to be one of The O2’s charity partners. Alongside Nordoff Robbins and MQ, this three year charity partnership announced in early 2018 reaches every corner of The O2:

“Music is at the heart of our organisation so we are proud to be working with The BRIT School which is a charity close to our hearts.”

John Langford, VP & GM

CSR: From engaging customers to opportunities for staff to ‘get involved’, the partnership is focused on delivering real impact for both The O2 and The BRIT School. At its heart is the shared ambition to break down barriers to even more children and young people seeking a future in the arts.

Funding: The O2 is donating and raising funds to support the School’s urgent fundraising campaign through innovative and engaging ways.

“This support offers opportunities to raise funds for our BRIT Silver Campaign, supporting our plans to break down barriers to even more young people who want to develop their personal creativity and gain skills which will then help them as part of their future to further their careers.”

Innovative opportunities: from making full use of The O2’s world-class facilities to support BRIT School productions and fundraising efforts, through to offering gig tickets for auction; the partnership makes full use of everything this unique and incredible venue has to offer.

Staff engagement: colleagues from The O2 and AEG were involved in our Steps To Success programme in July, offering CV and interview support for students as they prepare for life after BRIT.

“The BRIT School have a real passion for bettering young people; their entire team is driven and enthusiastic and you can tell they care about each and every student.”

“It was good to learn that I do have a lot of experience that can help others; meaningful advice that will hopefully help the young adults adapt to life outside of education.”
