Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded education, offering both theoretical knowledge, contextual understanding and practical skills in a creative or performing arts discipline. Each course or “strand” has been designed to ensure that students are industry- ready and equipped for success in their chosen fields. 

At Key Stage 4 you will study/learn on the Level 2 Theatre UAL Level 2 Diploma:

• Ensemble skills
• Acting technique
• About seminal theatre practitioners
• Physical theatre
• Textual analysis

The course offers skills and training in a range of areas which include:

• Acting
• Directing
• Writing
• Applied Theatre
• Production and Design Roles

Industry Opportunities

We collaborate with a range of creative industry partners to ensure our students receive the most up-to-date education and real-world experience, plus access to work placements. These partnerships allow us to offer internships, professional masterclasses and industry-driven projects and opportunities including: 

• The National Theatre
• The Unicorn Theatre
• Talks and workshops by Industry Professionals

"One of the highlights of the theatre course at BRIT is the community. At the start of the year,
we were put into “Theatre families” with one person from each year group, which is a great
way to get guidance. In my class, it's amazing to be around people passionate about theatre
