Interactive Digital Design
We are offering an innovative and exciting Interactive Digital Design course that will allow you to explore a range of technologies and practices that are relevant to the pace of the design industry. The Interactive Digital Design course introduces students to the design and study of computer games, web animation, graphic design, 3D animation, 2D animation, graphic novels, mobile publishing and motion graphics.

The Interactive Digital Design course introduces students to the design and study of computer games, mobile publishing, web animation, graphic design, 3D animation, motion graphics, web animation and graphic novels.
Alongside the strong practical and skills based curriculum, students will also study the impact of technology, digital media companies and social media on society. Interactive Digital Design students will have the use of their own dedicated Mac design studio, complete with a range of software and hardware including Adobe CC Creative Suite which includes Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator and InDesign. Students also use Maya for 3D animation. Students will be given opportunities to exhibit their work throughout the course and at the end of year showcase.
The Interactive Digital Design course includes work experience opportunities, where students will organise and partake in worthwhile placements within the digital design industries. Students who complete the course will be able to gain work directly in the design industries or continue at HE level. Students can go on to study a range of degree courses from interactive media, graphic design, advertising, motion graphics, games design to 3D animation.
