Rotherham-based artist and producer Rian Treanor presented a new collaborative performance, developed through a series of workshops with five Visual Art & Design students from the BRIT School, using specially developed software to create a remote networked performance.
The students were involved in 2 x workshops where they recorded sounds from around the BRIT School, these were edited by Rian and using software in MAX which Rian designed they were able to play these sounds and improvise with each other. On Friday 6th November Somerset House film crew came to the BRIT school to record several hours of live improvised performance by our students in 3 different locations.
The final piece was a 30 minute film of these performances. Congratulations to the following Year 13s who took part:
Ella Soni
Eve Giltinan-Allais
