Cyanotype Print, Thank you NHS - Eve Alexander (Year 11)

"This is a cyanotype print that I made to thank our wonderful NHS and my contribution to the #BRITgoesblue movement. I am fond of the cyanotype process and thought the vivid blue result it produces would be relevant and fitting as blue is the colour of the NHS. I made it by applying light-sensitive cyanotype chemicals to paper, placing the paper in the sunlight, with an acetate logo overlay and cow parsley flowers. After the print was exposed in the sun I washed the chemicals off with water, then scanned in my final print to restore a digital copy. I printed lots of copies of the piece and sent them to friends and family to display in their windows, to show appreciation for the NHS".

Falling by Harry Styles - a cover by Owen Edwards and Temi Atiba (Year 12)

The Language of Violence, Malcolm X - Ready by Alumni Cush Jumbo

"I did this for @almeida_theatre a while ago. I think what Malcolm X says gives some context to why what’s happening is happening right now & so I’m posting in the hope that it helps, or ignites or something. This is a shitty time for the theatres to be closed because we desperately need to reflect and challenge humanity more than ever."

"I love blackness, it is stunning, majestic, inspiring but it is also not here to serve non-black people when it suits them via sports, music, hairstyles, entertainment etc. It should be respected in the workplace and shouldn’t be ignored when it’s crying out in fear of being killed.⁣ You really want that utopian ideal of what our world could be? You want to be proudly and ACTIVELY anti-racist, more than fearing being called a racist? I want that for you too.⁣ If so, then do the work, educate yourself and others stand by us loudly, consistently, FOREVER."

Art Work - Harmony Latinwo (Year 12)

"The first image of the scribbled face was for Contextual Studies, studying the use lines. The second image is of a model named; Mulan Bae, which I created during the lockdown".

My Sister - Libby Cooper (Year 13)

"I shot these of my sister in the garden".

Body Modification - Rosie Tsuro (Year 13)

"I've been creating some work for the VAD show for our Year 13 Final Major Project. So here's what I've been doing in response to my title "body modification" I've been trying to create photography without a model because obviously I can't be near people during this time to do my photography so here's what I've come up with".
