Pastoral & Wellbeing
Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students have designated pastoral teams who work in collaboration with their teachers, parents/carers and when necessary, outside agencies to ensure they are supported with their social, emotional and physical needs during their time at the school. We offer a tailored personal professional development programme from Year 10 right up until Year 13, which has a direct focus on wellness. We hope students leave us with a resilient mind set, a positive identity and professional attitude.
We have a team of onsite counsellors who will work with students’ therapeutically. We have a specialist drugs and alcohol awareness worker. We also have timetabled Yoga and Enrichment activities throughout the week.
We believe that a student’s mental health and wellbeing are equally important as their school work.
